Itinerary of Kedarnath Yatra
This itinerary will be followed during your Kedarnath Yatra | Trip with us.
Day 1: Haridwar to Guptakashi, 220 km
Rise with the sun in the holy town of Haridwar and prepare for a captivating journey. Our driver will pick you up at 7:00 AM sharp, taking you away towards Guptakashi, Phata, or Sitapur. In the evening you will be arriving at the Hotel followed by dinner.
Day 2: Guptakashi to Kedarnath
Today’s journey takes you closer to the Kedarnath ji. After a refreshing breakfast, prepare yourself for the sacred trek. A shared shuttle service will transport you from Sonprayag, the official starting point of the pilgrimage, to Gaurikund, a holy site where you can take a dip in the invigorating hot springs (optional).
The 18-kilometer trek to Kedarnath Temple winds through breathtaking Himalayan landscapes. Forests, cascading waterfalls, and majestic mountains will keep you company as you ascend. However, alternative options are available for those who require assistance. You can opt for Doli, Pony, Pitthu, or Helicopter.
Upon reaching Kedarnath, a sense of accomplishment will wash over you. The majestic temple, nestled amidst the snow-capped peaks, will leave you speechless. Take some time to rest and get used to the new climate of the high altitude. In the evening, participate in the “Darshan,” a chance to seek blessings from Lord Shiva. After a fulfilling dinner. Unwind at your cosy hotel in Kedarnath, and soak in the peacefulness of the Himalayas.
Day 3: Kedarnath to Guptkashi
Rise at around 4:00 AM and embark on a journey towards the most sacred part of the pilgrimage – the Morning Darshan at Kedarnath Temple. As you join the other devotees, anticipation will fill the air. Witness the temple doors open, revealing the Garbhagriha.
After breakfast, the trek back down offers a chance to relive the breathtaking scenery from a different perspective. Then by evening, you’ll arrive back at your hotel in Sitapur or Guptakashi, depending on your initial drop-off point.
Day 4: Guptkashi to Haridwar, 220 Kms
Rise and greet the Himalayan morning one last time. Savour a delicious breakfast at your hotel, and then bid farewell to the mountains as you check out. Our driver will be waiting to transport you comfortably back to Haridwar.
As you approach the bustling city of Haridwar by 7:00 PM, you’ll carry with you a sense of accomplishment and a renewed perspective. This pilgrimage to Kedarnath will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact, a testament to your devotion and a reminder of the beauty and serenity of the Himalayas.

The Kedarnath trip from Haridwar to Haridwar will cost Rs. 11000/person and from Delhi to Delhi will cost Rs. 13,000/person. It takes around 4 days from Haridwar.
The best month to visit Kedarnath is post-monsoon (Mid-Sept to Diwali) which is off-season time and is a good time to visit if you want to avoid rush.
Kedarnath Trip can be done by booking with some tour operator like Aim of Adventure or you can do it by yourself. It is advised that you make all your bookings before the trip as during the season time all hotels are generally full.

Sonprayag is the last place where you can take your vehicle. After that to Gaurikund, you must travel in local Trasport to reach the Kedarnath. Or you can book with us and leave the hassle of the vehicle behind.
