According to Fork Lores Nag Tibba is a holy place of “Nag Devta”. This trek starts from the village of Pantwari which resembles the old times. And then this trek runs through the dense Rhododendron and Oak forests when there is snow it is harder to navigate in some places. After about trekking for 5.5 km, there is a small clear opening in the forest with a Nag Devta Mandir at the center which offers a great view to the surroundings. This will be our campsite of the Day.
Next Day we trek toward the summit were terrain is rugged and steep with mesmerizing views of Himalayan Peaks like Swargrohini, Bandarpoonch, Black Peak, Gangotri and many more. After you have reached the top you have to options which you have to book before hand. One in which you can end your journey on second day of trekking or you can continue the trek with ous for third day and get a chance of visit a one more place before ending the journey with ous.
Nag Tibba Trek Itinerary
Day 1: Drive from Dehradun to Pantwari and trek to Camp 1
Your journey will start from Dehadun, we will pick you from Prince Chock at 6 am. The journey will start from Dehradun to Pantwari Village. We will be passing through mussoorie in our journey. We will take a short break here for a light breakfast and reach our destination by noon. Pantwari village will be the last place were you will have network. Here we will rest for a while have our lunch and then begin our trek towards the Camp 1.
Day 2: Camp 1 to Nag Tibba Top and return to Pantwari Village and Drive to Dehradun
Today we will begin our trek in early morning as it is going to be a long day ahead. We will have our light breakfast in the morning and then we will begin our trek toward Summit. During the winter season when there is snow on the trail it is challenging to navigate in some places. The place where you will find the Nag Devta mandir will be at the center in the first small opening in the forest. You can spend some time in the summit capturing and admiring views. Then we will make our way down the same trail to the camp and have our lunch. After the lunch we will start our journey back to Pantwari village and then drive back to Dehradun.
